  • Dirt detection
  • On-board scheduling
  • Modular design
Pros:
  • Automatically avoids stairs and other drop-offs
  • Programmable scheduling system
  • Superior cleaning

Cons:
  • Can get stuck between the fridge door and the floor because of its height
  • All wires must be removed from the floors before cleaning
  • The bin that collects dirt is too small and fills quickly.

When I first purchased Roomba 560 I was skeptical of its cleaning abilities. However I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it out. It cleans very well with its powerful brushes, and will clean the room thoroughly. It also charges itself automatically when done cleaning. It avoids stairs and can transition smoothly between carpet and hardwood floor. It also works on ceramic floors. The only unpleasant surprise I got was when it got stuck between the fridge door and the floor since its just the right height to get stuck there. All the wires must be removed from the floor or Roomba will just "eat" them. Also, sometimes the bin gets full and Roomba will not finish its cleaning cycle.
